' Oi Hana Kai' Program Summary
'Oi Hana Kai is a collaboration between the Nakoa Foundation with private and public Middle Schools located on Hawai'i Island. It is an in-school session program that teaches students essential boat handling skills while immersing them in the practices and traditions of the traditional Hawaiian canoe.. In addition to these hands-on skills, students also explore a wide range of marine careers that are available in our community.
